Adopting StudyIntonation CAPT Tools to Tonal Languages Through the Example of Vietnamese

In tonal languages, tones are associated with both and phonological lexical domains. Accurate tone articulation is required in order to convey the correct meaning. Learning at word phrase levels often challenging for L2 learners non-tonal language background, because of possible subtle difference between close tones. this paper, we discuss an adoption StudyIntonation CAPT tools case Vietnamese being a good example register complex system comprising such features as pitch, its length, contour melody, intensity phonation. The particular focus contribution assess course toolkit pitch processing visualization algorithms evaluate how combined use audio visual perception mechanisms supported by may help improve accuracy their pronunciation intonation respect languages.
